Moody’s Investors Service Singapura menyatakan sektor minyak dan gas (migas) di Indonesia membutuhkan guyuran dana investasi lebih dari US$ 150 miliar atau setara Rp 2.235 triliun (kurs Rp 14.900 per US dollar). Kebutuhan dana investasi itu terhitung sejak saat ini hingga 2025 mendatang.
Melalui rilis yang dipublikasikan Senin (1/10), Moody’s menyebutkan bahwa investasi baru sebesar itu dibutuhkan Indonesia untuk mencegah penurunan produksi minyak dan gas. Investasi itu diperlukan baik di sektor hulu, berupa investasi di kegiatan pengeboran, pembangunan infrastruktur, hingga memperluas kapasitas kilang minyak, dan jaringan distribusi di sektor hilir.
